RS485 integrated brushless servo drive communicate with PLC via RS485
Step 1: Wiring between PLC and IV57- RS485-18 Integrated Brushless servo motor
Communication port 2 (Port2) is a communication port. It can be used to download programs and connect external devices. The communication parameters (baud rate, data bits, etc.) of this communication port can be reset by software. Port2 supports both RS232 and RS485 ( The RS485 terminal is at the output, A is 485+, B is 485-), but it should be noted that they cannot be used at the same time.

Step 2: Click "PLC Settings" to set PLC serial port 2 communication protocol parameters
Set the integrated Brushless Motor Address to 1
Step 3: Write the PLC program and find the function code
Run the motor forward (speed 1000 RPM) send it three instructions
1. RS-485 function effective instruction
2. Set the motor speed 1000 RPM
3 motor forward command
The PLC program is written as follows:
Download the program to the PLC and set M0 to ON and the RS485 integrated brushless servo drive to run at 1000 RPM!
