The stepping motor realizes the control of speed, position and direction by receiving the pulse current. The number of pulses determines the position of the stepping motor. For applications where many motors are required, for example, many medical devices have twenty or thirty axes. If pulse type is used, it is difficult to control. A plc can control up to six or seven axes.When the machine is more than one, it needs a lot of upper computer, which requires a large space volume, and most medical devices are relatively small and compact. Second, the motor has more pulse-type wiring, and the circuit has more than one.Signal interference problems cause equipment to be unstable. If you use the bus type, you only need two signal wires and power cables to connect all the motors in series. It is very convenient to design and install.There is a large amount of wiring signal interference problems.
Some machines have a computer host on their own. If you use a pulse type, you can't use the host computer. You also need a host computer or motion control card to control the stepper motor drive system, and the use of the bus type can be directly controlled by the computer host, with the professional performance of the motion control card mode, and the cost and space volume are also greatly advantageous compared to the other two methods.
Some products require a torque mode during the movement. For example, the lock screw machine uses a torque mode. The pulse type cannot control the motor current to adjust the torque, and the bus type can do it.
Compared with the pulse type, the bus type is not only a small size, but also the control program is much simpler than the plc ladder program, and it can also make the motor current, voltage and temperature,stalls, etc.feedback in real-time;current, subdivision of time changes, simple control of s-shaped acceleration and deceleration, analog quantity, synchronization command, offline control, etc. In general, the bus type is for the pulse type.There are many new features and no disadvantages.
